18 Months = NURSERY!

Clark finally hit 18 months which meant that he is now eligible to attend nursery at church. It also means that mom and dad are able to listen to the lessons without worrying that Clark is going to peg someone in the back of the head with his pacie...or a book...or his sippy cup. I did not worry that his transition to nursery would be difficult because I can honestly say that Clark had never gone through a separation anxiety phase. He likes it that we are around, but if there are other kids and toys around, he really doesn't care where we are. He has bolted into the room every week and immediately dived into the toys. I ask every week to see if Clark behaves himself since he has now discovered that he is bigger than most of the other kids and likes to sometimes use all 31 pounds of himself to get what he wants, but we get good reports every week. This week we were told that he did all the actions for Once There Was a Snowman perfectly, which I, being the proud mother that I am, thought was amazing. Here are his stats from his 18 month checkup:
Height: 36 1/4 inches -- 97% (+2 inches from 3 months ago)
Weight: 31 pounds -- 95% (+ 2 lbs. 8 oz. from 3 months ago)
Head Circumference: 19 3/4 inches -- 95% (+1/4 inch from 3 months ago)
So pretty much, we have a big and tall kid with a huge noggin (cue the lines from So I married an Axe Murderer). I love my big boy!!
